Auckland Rugby Throw-Back Festival 2026

NPC – Auckland v Wellington Western Springs will transform into a festival of rugby and entertainment, featuring a Boot Party, an epic Kids Zone Bullrush Battle, Junior Team Celebration, George FM VIP Zone, renewed terraces and interactive sponsor experiences.​ More than a rugby match, The Throwback Festival is a celebration of Auckland pride—bringing together families, clubs, members and supporters to honour 50 years of NPC rugby and everything that makes Auckland Rugby special: our history, our people and our future.​ With the backing of MediaWorks and four powerhouse stations—George FM, Mai FM, More FM and The Rock—this will be one of the biggest rugby celebrations of the year.
